En Voiture Simone
a favorite of the youthful Parisiennes who rule Instagram with their inspirational outfits
The boutique offers well loved styles from the 80s and 90s. Inside, you'll discover a mix of oversized blouses, front pleated skirts, leather and embellished bomber jackets that give your wardrobe a bit of individuality without looking like you tried. A thing Parisians do well. Yves Saint Laurent and Courrèges hang on the racks along with a mix of bygone era labels ready for a revival. If you have an obsession for these decades and ready to relive a fashion moment then make this a stop.
Good to know:
Inspect each piece for hidden flaws and expect to pay top dollar for your vintage find. Prices average around 120-240 euros.
Known as NOMA (North Marais) you can easily spend an entire afternoon wandering within the three blocks around Les Enfants du Marche, an outdoor market with a variety of food stalls. Some of my favorite places nearby; Café Pinson (for my vegetarians), Wild & The Moon (fast healthy meals and juices to keep you running clean) and Chef Masa at Les Enfants du Marche. Prepare to eat like it’s your last meal (bring on the carbs, sister!), slow down and enjoy a glass of wine. After you fill your belly, walk in either direction. The neighborhood is a mecca for vintage and second-hand.
